Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, biotech convergence) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology forecasts and investment recommendations to the board of directors
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive R&D initiatives for next-gen platforms including autonomous systems and spatial computing
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications for innovation strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies across multiple industries
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, white papers, or keynotes)
- Experience leading global teams and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
