Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies with 3-7 year commercialization horizons
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate goals and market demands
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future technology applications
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards of directors
- Identify partnership opportunities with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Monitor global technology trends and competitive landscapes through quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through change management and internal advocacy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Expertise in technology forecasting, patent analysis, and market assessment
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CIMP) preferred
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields highly desirable
