Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) to develop 2026 commercialization strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic concepts
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and executive stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record launching technologies with 3+ year market horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
