Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology adoption across AI, quantum, and biotech domains
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite vision
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching 3+ commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management
- Experience with patent strategy and IP commercialization
