Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech) with transformative potential
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for future tech landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities
- Establish KPIs to measure tech adoption impact and ROI
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Certifications in technology forecasting or innovation management (e.g., CFIP) preferred
