Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops on quantum computing applications, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized systems
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration protocols
- Produce trend intelligence reports on metamaterials, bio-integrated tech, and climate-positive infrastructure
- Manage innovation pipelines with $50M+ annual R&D budgets for emerging tech ventures
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and government advisory boards
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in technology strategy consulting or corporate innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, or advanced materials)
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies or long-term trend analysis
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing organizational change
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful 5-year technology implementation plans
