Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (2026-2030) and assess commercial viability
- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in sandbox environments
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption strategies
- Present strategic briefings to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team of technologists and futurists
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from concept to market adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, HPI)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major technology commercialization projects
