Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) to inform strategic roadmaps
- Develop 2026-2030 technology adoption frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-tech hubs
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic tech consulting or corporate innovation roles
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience developing 5-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong background in innovation management frameworks (e.g., Stage-Gate, Lean Startup)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from APF)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives with measurable impact
