Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps focusing on 2026 readiness across quantum computing, AI, and spatial computing
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging tech opportunities and threats
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for R&D collaboration
- Present technology forecasts and implementation plans to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and responsible innovation practices
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing existing systems and processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record implementing emerging technologies with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse, etc.)
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to C-level executives and investors
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research communities
- Certifications in technology foresight, innovation management, or relevant domain expertise
