Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market trends
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor committees
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Drive innovation workshops to cultivate future-thinking culture across the organization
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in anticipating and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience building and managing high-impact innovation ecosystems
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
