Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market adoption
- Develop and execute 10-year technology roadmaps aligned with ESG goals and business growth targets
- Design and oversee pilot programs for breakthrough innovations with potential $100M+ market impact
- Chair cross-functional innovation councils comprising engineering, product, and executive stakeholders
- Represent the company at Davos, CES, and exclusive tech summits to shape industry discourse
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Quantify ROI projections for emerging tech investments using predictive analytics frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies with 10+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech focus)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Experience building and leading global innovation teams with $50M+ budget oversight
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) or equivalent
- Demonstrated success in scaling pilot programs to enterprise-wide implementations
- Fluency in Python, R, or similar for technology impact modeling
