Responsibilities
- Architect and lead strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovation cycles
- Conduct pioneering research in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neural interfaces
- Develop proof-of-concepts for breakthrough technologies with $50M+ market potential
- Partner with MIT and Stanford labs to accelerate academic-industry translation
- Present visionary blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging tech adoption methodologies
- Secure 3-5 patents annually in future-facing technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years R&D experience
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations in future tech domains
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (VC-backed preferred)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing
- Security clearance for national innovation initiatives (Top Secret preferred)
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Portfolio demonstrating $100M+ impact through technological innovation
