Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech AI, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and market validation
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing systems and architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, neural interfaces, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical innovation frameworks
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
