Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) into organizational frameworks
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate futuristic solutions with measurable ROI
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with technology pioneers, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible innovation
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and strategic positioning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership roles
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or AR/VR
- Proven track record of launching disruptive technologies with $10M+ budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with a focus on innovation management
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Certified in strategic planning (e.g., PMI-SP) or technology foresight methodologies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing technology investment decisions
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism (articles, patents, or books)
