Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and sustainability goals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Analyze global tech trends to anticipate disruptions and strategic opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry innovators
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, CPSR)
