Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy across quantum, bio-digital, and climate-tech domains
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with potential market disruption by 2026
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI governance, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological forecasting (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for multi-year R&D initiatives
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., AC/FS, WFS) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020-2025 tech predictions
