Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic insights at industry conferences and publish thought leadership papers
- Manage $5M R&D budget for experimental projects in immersive environments
- Partner with venture capital firms to identify disruptive startups for acquisition
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in IEEE Nature or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Certification in Technology Foresight (APF or TFMC)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology commercialization successes
- Proficiency in scenario planning and impact assessment methodologies
