- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies through horizon scanning
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from NSF and DARPA for 2026-focused initiatives
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and publish white papers in Future Tech Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ years in emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record in securing federal innovation grants ($2M+)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech futurism journals
- Clearance for federal research projects (or ability to obtain)
