Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead scenario planning for quantum computing adoption and ethical AI frameworks
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech domains (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through investor presentations and whitepapers
- Build and lead a 10-person future technology incubation team
- Establish industry-first standards for metaverse interoperability
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to board of directors
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (quantum/AI/metaverse)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Futuristics preferred
- Published author in IEEE or Nature on technology forecasting
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi method)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Fluency in Mandarin/Spanish for global partnerships
