Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AGI, and bio-digital convergence
- Lead R&D partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI governance and human-machine symbiosis
- Direct prototyping of next-gen interfaces (neural lace, haptic holography, emotion AI)
- Secure $50M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, and private venture consortiums
- Establish global standards for quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging tech through our Stanford collaboration program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Ethics, or Synthetic Biology (or equivalent breakthrough innovation)
- 10+ years leading R&D at firms with unicorn valuations or NASA/DoD tech divisions
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning or human-computer integration
- Expertise in ISO 21448 (SOTIF) and IEEE 7000 standards for autonomous systems
- Track record of scaling technologies from lab to $100M+ commercial deployments
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow Quantum, and bioinformatics frameworks (Biopython)
- Active contributor to IEEE P2813 standards for ethical AI development
