Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market disruption
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future-focused recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for next-gen solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futures planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial computing, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent (e.g., WFS certification)
