Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead market analysis for emerging tech adoption curves and regulatory landscapes
- Prototype cross-disciplinary solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Partner with VCs and startups to scout and incubate disruptive technologies
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Anticipate societal implications of technological advancements through foresight modeling
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for pilot programs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in quantum computing, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling technology from concept to market
- Deep understanding of US tech policy and global innovation ecosystems
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent research institutions
- Fluency in Python, R, and strategic modeling tools
