Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and business strategists
- Identify emerging technologies with potential to disrupt markets post-2025
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members using data-driven narratives
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future tech forecasting
- Proven track record implementing exponential technologies at scale
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum, AGI, synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($5M+ value)
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
