Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps for enterprise clients in AI, blockchain, and biotech convergence
- Lead research initiatives on emerging tech including quantum-resistant cryptography and synthetic biology
- Coordinate with CTOs to align technical innovation with business objectives
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders at industry conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in prototyping future-focused solutions
- Analyze market disruption patterns to identify competitive advantages
- Collaborate with product teams to translate vision into actionable development plans
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized AI or quantum solutions
- Expertise in at least two of: generative AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ stakeholder engagements
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and disruption analysis
