Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, biotech, decentralized systems)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities in AI, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 partners and VC firms
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring exponential technology adoption
- Manage $2M+ R&D portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and quantum encryption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in exponential technologies
- Proven track record launching at least one category-defining product
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and futures forecasting tools
- Experience scaling ventures from MVP to $100M+ ARR
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology
- Security clearance preferred for defense-contract collaborations
