Responsibilities
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies (AI, Web3, Biotech) to predict their impact on the market by 2026.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and maintain a long-term technology roadmap aligned with the company's 2026 vision and business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Product, and C-Suite executives to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Innovation Labs: Lead the exploration and pilot testing of disruptive technologies to ensure a competitive edge in the future landscape.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex strategies to stakeholders, clearly articulating the potential ROI and strategic value of emerging tech investments.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and global tech shifts to identify threats and opportunities for Nexus Innovations.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select key technology partners and vendors that align with our future-forward goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or strategic consulting. Experience specifically in forecasting 5-year+ horizons is a major plus.
- Tech Fluency: Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of developing successful long-term strategies and leading organizational change.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership without direct authority.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical data for diverse audiences.
