Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation strategies through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Design and deploy scenario-planning frameworks for technological disruption
- Present future-vision narratives to executive stakeholders and board members
- Curate and maintain a real-time innovation pipeline with quantifiable impact metrics
- Mentor junior futurists and build a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Strong proficiency in scenario modeling and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
