Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps by analyzing technological convergence, market trends, and socio-economic shifts
- Lead ideation workshops using futures thinking methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data narratives
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build external ecosystems through strategic partnerships with startups, academia, and industry consortiums
- Document and disseminate foresight frameworks across global innovation centers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products/services post-2020
- Expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AI ethics, AR/VR, climate tech)
- Certification in futures studies (e.g., WFS, APF) or advanced degree in strategic foresight
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across global time zones
- Published thought leadership in innovation journals or industry whitepapers
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year strategic forecasts
