Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership reports on emerging technological paradigms
- Advise executive board on future-proofing investments and risk mitigation
- Build external networks with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic plans
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Portfolio of published future-oriented research or frameworks
