Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) with 2026+ implications
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Author strategic foresight publications and deliver keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Design and facilitate cross-industry innovation workshops with C-suite executives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business roadmaps
- Lead the 2026 Global Innovation Index research initiative
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed foresight research or white papers
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Ability to communicate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ successful innovation strategy implementations
