Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, quantum computing) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market dominance
- Develop and lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to build resilient future-state roadmaps
- Design and implement innovation frameworks that balance technological feasibility with human-centric impact
- Partner with R&D teams to translate futuristic concepts into prototyping and pilot programs
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers on emerging industry disruptions
- Manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives with $5M+ annual budget allocation
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful future-focused strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field preferred
- Published thought leader with 50+ articles/whitepapers on disruptive innovation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
