Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing to identify disruptive 2026+ opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients adapting to 2030 market shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops using futures thinking methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Author white papers and keynote presentations on emerging tech ethics and societal impact
- Build and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database using NLP and predictive analytics
- Mentor junior strategists in futures literacy and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (e.g., AI governance, synthetic biology)
- Experience advising C-suite on 5-10 year strategic pivots
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, GIST) and data visualization platforms
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
