Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, quantum computing) to identify strategic opportunities and threats for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author high-impact trend reports and executive briefings
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout emerging technologies
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track adoption metrics
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) strongly preferred
