Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, social, and economic trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning with company vision and emerging industry disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product strategies
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proofing principles into corporate planning
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for stakeholder audiences
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-convergence, etc.) for commercial viability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading products
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong background in at least one emerging tech domain (AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry publications
- Experience with agile development and product lifecycle management
