Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing business models and technologies
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on emerging disruptors and market inflection points
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and global innovation ecosystems
- Design and implement organizational change initiatives to embed future-ready capabilities
- Oversee the Futurist Innovation Lab budget and resource allocation for experimental projects
- Mentor a team of 5-7 futurists and innovation specialists through structured development programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience communicating complex futures concepts
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications (e.g., HBR, MIT Technology Review)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $2M and leading cross-functional teams of 10+
