Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop and communicate future scenarios to inform 5-year corporate strategy roadmaps
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development plans and investment priorities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-organizational innovation initiatives in tech sector
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (required)
- Fluency in foresight methodologies and future-back planning frameworks
