As a key member of our Global Futures Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify paradigm shifts, anticipate market disruptions, and position Nexus at the forefront of innovation. Your insights will directly influence product development, corporate strategy, and investment decisions across our portfolio of ventures.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop and maintain the corporate innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic horizons
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to stress-test business models against future uncertainties
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation projects
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused business strategy
- Manage a portfolio of experimental ventures with exponential growth potential
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data modeling skills with proficiency in AI-driven forecasting tools
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex future scenarios
- Experience in high-growth tech or venture capital environments
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation initiatives
