As a key member of our Future Lab division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and global partners to anticipate disruptions, identify paradigm shifts, and develop actionable strategies. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technology, sociology, and business strategy, with a proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into tangible business value.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 3-5 year innovation horizons
- Develop comprehensive future scenario frameworks and strategic roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from diverse disciplines (AI, biotech, sustainability, etc.)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging concepts through rapid experimentation
- Deliver executive presentations and thought leadership content on future trends and strategic implications
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for innovation initiatives aligned with long-term corporate vision
- Monitor competitive landscapes and emerging disruptors to identify first-mover advantages
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Experience working with agile development teams and rapid prototyping processes
