Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product development priorities and market entry strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to co-develop next-generation technologies
- Design and execute foresight methodologies including scenario planning, Delphi studies, and technology roadmapping
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in emerging markets
- Mentor innovation teams in future-focused thinking methodologies and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate innovation, R&D strategy, or technology foresight with proven portfolio impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies including generative AI, synthetic biology, and quantum computing applications
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executable business strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals with strong industry network
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including STEEP analysis, weak signal detection, and system dynamics modeling
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation environments with measurable ROI
