- Develop and publish annual innovation roadmaps and trend forecasts for 2026+
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Design and execute corporate innovation incubators for emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Monitor global technology, regulatory, and societal shifts affecting our industry
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi)
- Experience with innovation frameworks like Design Thinking and Lean Startup
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic initiatives
