Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps for 2026+ across AI, biotechnology, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops to anticipate disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Develop ethical frameworks for emerging tech adoption in regulated industries
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Produce trend reports and predictive models for board-level decision-making
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $50M+ innovation budgets
- Represent the company at global future-focused forums and summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Certification in futures studies, systems thinking, or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ innovators
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
