Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap with 3-5 year strategic foresight
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Present strategic insights to global stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through persuasive business cases
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ market impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Experience securing large-scale R&D funding
- Portfolio of published trend forecasts or innovation frameworks
