Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, forecasting technological convergence points and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neurotech, and climate adaptation technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and venture capital firms
- Present foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board members to guide billion-dollar investment decisions
- Champion ethical innovation principles, ensuring all developments align with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Curate and lead the annual 'Future Forward' summit, convening global thought leaders
- Mentor internal innovation teams in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AI ethics, biotech regulation, climate tech policy, or neuro-interfaces
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants from DARPA, NSF, or equivalent bodies
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
