Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, societal shifts, and market disruptions
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with organizational vision
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities
- Champion emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through pilot programs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation strategy team
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and strategic alignment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFMP) strongly preferred
- Experience scaling innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
