Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market paradigms impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Architect and evangelize multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and growth objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to incubate breakthrough concepts and accelerate prototype development
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight frameworks to evaluate long-term strategic opportunities
- Present compelling future scenarios and innovation blueprints to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Oversee the portfolio of strategic innovation initiatives from ideation to market validation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including scenario planning, Delphi studies, and trend extrapolation
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategy, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains
