Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions using agile methodologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess business implications
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with stakeholders to build organizational future literacy
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure innovation pipeline performance and ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Author thought leadership content on emerging trends and their impact on industry evolution
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (e.g., Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan)
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of futuristic concepts into commercial ventures
