What you'll achieve:
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios
- Identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities with 3-5 year lead time
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and Board of Directors
- Build a proprietary foresight methodology for our industry
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop quantitative forecasting models for market adoption curves
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops with executive leadership
- Author annual '2026 State of the Future' strategic report
- Lead innovation pipeline development for next-generation products
- Establish KPIs for strategic initiatives and track implementation progress
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and system dynamics modeling
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Publication in industry journals or books on future trends (desired)
