Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and cultural trends to identify strategic opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive markets and geopolitical landscapes
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing business models and workforce evolution
- Produce annual "Horizon Reports" with actionable insights for R&D and product development
- Partner with AI ethics teams to establish responsible innovation frameworks
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech or sustainability domains
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major strategic foresight projects
