Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor global geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term business strategy
- Create executive-ready foresight reports with actionable recommendations for 2026+ planning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through organizational transformation
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
