Responsibilities
- Develop horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year impact
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives across healthcare, energy, and aerospace sectors
- Produce trend briefings using predictive analytics and AI-driven foresight tools
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford's AI Institute on joint research initiatives
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies like neural interfaces and climate geoengineering
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Present findings at Davos and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent applied research experience
- Published work in peer-reviewed foresight journals or top-tier business publications
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Delphi method, cross-impact matrices, and causal layered analysis
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term strategic pivots
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful technology commercialization predictions
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
